This year, Anhui Province will shift its focus in promoting the development of artificial intelligence from emphasizing big computing power, large models, and big data to paying more attention to the application scenarios of vertical domain models. With a focus on nurturing vertical domain models, Anhui will prioritize technological innovation, support unconventional model breakthroughs, and encourage leading industry enterprises to collaborate with companies specializing in large models and industry-specific models, especially small and medium-sized innovative startups, to jointly develop and demonstrate applications of vertical application models. 

The recently introduced "Anhui Province Accelerated 'Artificial Intelligence +' Action Plan" clearly states:

—After three years of effort, the province aims to achieve a leading position in fundamental capabilities, significantly increase application penetration, establish a basic industrial ecosystem, and create a concentrated momentum for integrated applications. By 2027, the penetration of artificial intelligence into the real economy and social services in our province will accelerate, becoming an important means to lead industrial quality improvement, cost reduction, efficiency enhancement, and to facilitate efficient and inclusive social services.

—By 2030, artificial intelligence will be deeply integrated with economic and social development, becoming an important engine for accelerating the cultivation and development of new quality productive forces. 

Artificial intelligence is an important driving force leading the new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation. It is also a crucial track for Anhui to take the lead in innovation and cultivate new quality productive forces.

Anhui has a relatively early start in the field of artificial intelligence and great potential. In recent years, it has focused on the construction of an AI ecosystem, seeking breakthroughs through innovation and promoting development through application. Anhui Province's AI industry development is ranked 6th in the country.

With both product-driven and scenario-driven efforts, as well as breakthroughs in technology and promotion in application, the endeavor to cultivate an open, innovative, and dynamic industrial ecosystem has propelled Anhui to accelerate its run on the AI track, injecting strong momentum into the cultivation and growth of new quality productive forces.
