On the afternoon of March 27, a press conference was held to interpret the "Anhui Province Action Plan for Accelerating the Promotion of 'Artificial Intelligence +'".

Artificial intelligence is a key driving force behind the new wave of technological revolution and industrial transformation, as well as a vital sector for Anhui to take the lead in innovation and foster new quality productive forces. The "Anhui Province Action Plan for Accelerating the Promotion of 'Artificial Intelligence +'" (hereinafter referred to as the "Action Plan") was drafted by the Provincial Science and Technology Department, which was formed after in-depth visits and research, and extensive consultations from various parties. The "Action Plan" includes three parts: action objectives, main tasks, and safeguard measures.

The first part is the action goals. By 2027, the integration of artificial intelligence into the real economy and social services in Anhui Province will be accelerated, becoming an important means to lead industrial quality improvement, cost reduction, efficiency enhancement, and convenient, efficient, and inclusive social services. By 2030, artificial intelligence will be deeply integrated with economic and social development, becoming an important engine for accelerating the cultivation and development of new quality productive forces.

The second part is the main tasks. Based on models and computing power, four major special actions will be implemented: foundational strengthening at the underlying level, integrated applications, ecological construction, and safety assurance. Anhui will build application clusters such as the core artificial intelligence industry in the Hefei metropolitan area, the "Artificial Intelligence + Manufacturing" in the Yangtze River (Anhui) Economic Belt, the "Artificial Intelligence + Characteristic Industries" in Northern Anhui, and the "Artificial Intelligence + Culture and Tourism" in Southern Anhui.

The third part is the safeguard measures. The Anhui Provincial Artificial Intelligence Industry Promotion Group will play a coordinating role, regularly studying and solving major problems in the work advancement, improving the work task promotion mechanism, and urging and guiding the implementation of tasks. Cities and relevant provincial units will strengthen policy support and coordinated linkage, focus on industry and regional characteristics, refine work measures, and promote the implementation of various tasks. Good experiences and practices in the work will be summarized in a timely manner, and all types of media will be fully utilized to enhance publicity and promotion, creating a strong atmosphere for accelerating the innovative application of "Artificial Intelligence +".
