From January 28 to February 4, the Yangtze River Delta railway transported 17.025 million passengers, with an average of nearly 2.13 million passengers per day. During the Spring Festival period, a total of 1,777 additional trains were operated, fully meeting the travel needs of passengers. The railway department estimates that before the Lantern Festival, the return passenger flow will continue to be substantial. They plan to increase transportation capacity for key post-holiday areas and directions such as Beijing-Shanghai, Guangzhou-Shenzhen, and Xuzhou-Bengbu, to meet the travel demands of passengers. As one of the key areas for post-holiday passenger transport, Fuyang maintained a high volume of travel. To address the challenge of the large passenger flow, Fuyangxi Station operated 24 hours a day from February 3 to February 7; it set up love and express channels at the entrance to provide priority verification and security checks for key passengers and those with less than 15 minutes until departure. Measures were taken in advance to ensure smooth information exchange and transportation connections for passengers. On February 4, the eight-day Spring Festival holiday of the Year of the Snake came to an end, and the number of passengers handled by Anhui's civil aviation remained high. From January 28 to February 4, Hefei Airport handled a total of 2,330 flights and transported about 308,000 person-time. On February 5, the first working day after the holiday, Hefei Airport handled 318 flight operations, reaching the peak number of flights since the beginning of the Spring Festival travel rush.
