On December 27th, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce released the main findings of the "2023 Annual Evaluation of the Business Environment for Private Enterprises." Anhui Province was recognized as one of the "Top 10 provinces in terms of business environment score" and one of the "Top 10 provinces with the best reputation". The business environment score and reputation of Hefei City both ranked among the top 10 among provincial capitals and vice-provincial level cities nationwide. This year marks the fifth consecutive year that the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce has released the evaluation results of the business environment. More than 140,000 private enterprises participated in the survey, covering 31 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government, and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. According to the evaluation results, the top 10 provinces (sorted by administrative division) in terms of business environment score are Beijing, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian, Shandong, Hubei, Hunan, and Guangdong. The top 10 provincial capitals and vice-provincial level cities (sorted by administrative division) are Nanjing, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Hefei, Qingdao, Wuhan, Changsha, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Chengdu. Since the beginning of this year, the Anhui Provincial Party Committee and the Anhui provincial government have taken concrete actions at all levels and departments to meet the expectations, concerns, and needs of enterprises, striving to create a first-class business environment that is market-oriented, based on the rule of law, and internationalized. They regard optimizing the business environment as an "everlasting project" and, in response to existing problems and weaknesses, have formulated a list of issues, set deadlines for resolution, and worked on optimization and upgrades. As a result, the sense of satisfaction among enterprises continues to improve.
