From June 13 to 14, the semi-finals of the Second Anhui Story Sharing Contest for Foreigners were successfully held in Tongling City. Twenty-five international friends from around the world joined together to celebrate their bonds of friendship and share their experiences in Anhui.

Since the contest began in March 2024, it has garnered widespread attention from many foreigners in Anhui. A total of 90 foreign participants from 46 countries across five continents, including the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Japan, and New Zealand, signed up to participate. These participants include foreign teachers, employees, students, and entrepreneurs.

The contestants focused on the theme of "Tell Anhui's Stories, Showcase Anhui's Image," and vividly share their personal experiences of studying, working, and living in Anhui from a foreign perspective through formats such as stand-up comedy, interviews, and vlogs. They provided a genuine, comprehensive, and multi-dimensional portrayal of Anhui's cultural customs, development, and everyday life of Anhui people. In the semi-finals, contestants immersed themselves in Anhui enterprises to gain in-depth knowledge of Chinese copper culture and other aspects, and to experience Anhui's development.

It is co-hosted by the Publicity Department of the CPC Anhui Provincial Committee, the Foreign Affairs Office of the Anhui Provincial People's Government, the Anhui Provincial Department of Education, the Anhui Provincial Department of Science and Technology, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Anhui Provincial People's Government, and Anhui Broadcasting Corporation, and co-organized by the Publicity Departments of municipal committees and the Foreign Affairs Offices of various cities in Anhui. The finals and awards ceremony will be held at the end of June, broadcasted on satellites and IPTV platforms in the United States, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan through Anhui TV and Anhui International Channel, and shared on overseas social media platforms.
