
On March 17, the cold-running operation vehicle departed from Shushan'nan Station on Phase I of Hefei Metro Line 6, marking the official launch of the cold-running test for the overhead contact system (OCS), which is part of the power supply system integration project undertaken by Electrical Engineering Co., Ltd. of CTCE Group. The project team from Electrical Engineering Co., Ltd. of CTCE Group implemented a full-process video monitoring mechanism, prepared a specialized cold-running plan, and assembled a professional technical team. On-site test data indicated that all key parameters meeting acceptance standards. A representative from Hefei Metro Construction Company pointed out that this test lays a technical foundation for subsequent power transmission and hot-running tests, playing a crucial role in achieving the goal of opening the line by the end of the year. As an east-west express line traversing Hefei's urban area to Feidong, Metro Line 6 is designed for a maximum speed of 100 km/h and employs a fully automated operation system. Once completed, the project will create a rapid transportation corridor across the city, effectively alleviating traffic pressure in the main urban area and optimizing the structure of urban public transportation.
