On the morning of May 12th, the Press Office of the Anhui Provincial Government held a press conference titled "Creating a Market-Oriented, Law-Based, and Internationalized First-Class Business Environment—Further Advancing the Construction of an Internationalized Business Environment." During the conference, reporters learned that in the first quarter of this year, the province achieved imports and exports of 215.33 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13.1%, which is 11.8 percentage points higher than the national average. Actually utilized foreign capital was 4.07 billion yuan, up by 10% year-on-year (of which, direct investment from foreign investors exceeded 3 billion yuan), and 119 new foreign-invested enterprises were established, representing a year-on-year increase of 1.7%.   

Our province has issued the "Anhui Province Stabilizing Foreign Investment Action Plan," which plans 16 measures across 6 aspects, employing multiple strategies to stabilize the scale of foreign investment, maintain the confidence of foreign investors, and secure investment expectations. 

Furthermore, to continuously enhance Anhui's international influence and recognition, our province has launched a selection of the top ten cases of internationalized business environments. We have deepened and implemented the "Anhui Going Global" Partnership Program, organizing 22 "Overseas Guest Roundtable" events both domestically and internationally to systematically and comprehensively promote our province's internationalized business environment.

Our province has organized around 100 investment promotion teams to visit multinational headquarters overseas under the "Visit Multinational Headquarters" initiative. Anhui has arranged for 5,000 enterprises to participate in international exhibitions at home and abroad, hosting about 15 themed exhibitions featuring Anhui's export-oriented industries. Anhui has actively promoted the international alignment of foreign trade product standards and conformity assessments. Leveraging the role of the Huizhou Enterprises International Economic and Trade Cooperation Alliance, Anhui has conducted around 10 special events such as "Finance+" and "Automobile+", driving collaborative participation in international competition by upstream and downstream enterprises in key industrial chains like automotive, photovoltaics, and lithium batteries. 

To facilitate the work and living of foreign nationals in Anhui, our province has compiled and released the "A Guide for Expats Working and Living in Anhui (2025 Edition)." Tailored to local conditions, Anhui advances the construction of integrated service centers at airports and high-speed railway stations, offering convenient services such as payment, communication, transportation, and cultural tourism for foreigners coming to Anhui. Anhui also enhances the quality of international education and medical services to meet the healthcare and educational needs of foreign nationals and their children in Anhui.
