On April 26, the 3rd China (Anhui) Science and Technology Innovation Achievement Transformation Fair for New Energy Vehicles and Intelligent Connected Vehicles Technology Investment Matchmaking Event was held in Hefei. This event highlights technological breakthroughs, industrial collaboration, and ecosystem co-construction in the new energy and intelligent connected vehicle sectors. It aims to attract high-quality enterprises, research institutions, and capital from both home and abroad to "come to Anhui, invest in Anhui," further promoting the strengthening and solidifying of the industrial chain, enabling China's automotive industry to seize opportunities in the "second half" of intelligent competition. The event commenced with an "Innovation Ecosystem Roadshow for New Energy and Intelligent Connected Vehicles," featuring representatives from government, industry, academia, research, finance, service and applications, jointly paving the way for a new future in the intelligent connected vehicle industry. "Anhui has a trillion-yuan automotive industry with abundant scenarios and nearly 50,000 enterprises in the aftermarket for complete vehicles and parts. We have seven major manufacturers with a well-structured and resilient layout," said Ren Linjie, Executive Secretary-General of the Anhui Automotive Strategy Consultation Committee and Director of the Anhui Automotive Innovation Center. He noted that this fair leverages Anhui's massive scenarios to attract entrepreneurs, innovative teams, and universities from outside the province to deeply integrate with Anhui's landscape. Dr. Zhu Ye, a visiting professor at Peking University's School of Computer Science and a special expert at Chery Commercial Vehicles, discussed "Embodied-Driven Industrial Intelligent Manufacturing Solutions," exploring the deep integration of artificial intelligence with automotive manufacturing, and painted a new picture of intelligent and flexible production for the industry. In an interview, Zhu expressed optimism about the future development of Anhui's automotive industry, emphasizing its advantages in industrial operations, a range of industrial clusters, numerous new energy vehicle R&D centers, and testing scenarios. He highlighted that Anhui is the leading province in automotive exports, capable of rapidly channeling China’s latest technologies into the global ecosystem. Leading Anhui's automotive industry, companies like JAC, Chery, and NIO shared their latest technological achievements and strategic layouts during the event. JAC focused on "Product Layout and Future Development Directions for JAC Smart Driving," analyzing industry policies, market trends, and technological evolution paths, while showcasing its technological practices and future plans in areas such as active safety, L2+NOA, L3 conditional autonomous driving, and L4 unmanned driving, demonstrating a strategic commitment to "craftsmanship of the era for global win-win cooperation." The event brought together representatives from government agencies, research institutions, vehicle and parts enterprises, financial institutions, and service platforms, promoting precise connections between technology demand and market applications through specialized sessions on cutting-edge technologies and innovative products. Looking ahead, Anhui will deepen open cooperation, accelerate the gathering of innovation elements, and build an internationally influential innovative center for the new energy vehicle industry.
