On April 19, the founding conference of the Anhui Enterprises Trade and Circulation Cooperation Alliance and a domestic sales matchmaking event for foreign trade enterprises were held in Hefei. Nearly 370 domestic and foreign trade companies from across the province attended to discuss ways to promote Anhui's export products in the domestic market.

During the onsite matchmaking session, 13 domestic trade companies set up connection stations to discuss supply and demand with attending foreign trade enterprises and negotiate cooperation intentions.

Liu Tao, Head of East China Public Relations at Anhui Yonghui Superstores, stated that Yonghui has received hundreds of emails at a special email address for foreign trade enterprises. Over 100 quality supply chain companies are now in the procurement negotiation stage, including Chinese suppliers for Costco and Sam's Club in the U.S., covering over ten categories such as fruits, snacks, and household goods. Yonghui is actively negotiating to match quality products, with plans to launch a foreign trade section within a week.

The Anhui Enterprises Trade and Circulation Cooperation Alliance has over 300 member units covering various fields, including department stores, supermarkets, commercial complexes, liquor, pharmaceuticals, e-commerce, catering, accommodation, housekeeping, and agricultural product circulation. It aims to integrate resources in the commerce and trade sector, building a professional and comprehensive service platform for business communication, industry interaction, and resource aggregation, promoting information sharing, cooperation, mutual learning, and the high-quality development of Anhui's commerce and trade industry.

Since 2012, Anhui's total retail sales of consumer goods have crossed two trillion yuan thresholds, reaching 2.40877 trillion yuan in 2024, with its national ranking rising from 14th to 9th.

From the perspective of current key economic tasks such as expanding domestic demand and stabilizing foreign trade, the establishment of the Anhui Enterprises Trade and Circulation Cooperation Alliance will help integrate resources, and enhance the overall level and competitiveness of our commerce and trade sector.
