With your phone running low on battery, there's no need to worry. Just expose it to light indoors or outdoors, and you can achieve seamless charging. Recently, at the Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona, Spain, a solar-powered charging phone attracted considerable attention. This phone is produced by Hefei BOE Solar Energy Tech Co., Ltd., with a maximum charging power of 2W, marking the industry's first application of perovskite photovoltaic cells in mobile terminals. This breakthrough in phone charging technology not only creates new application scenarios for the iteration and upgrading of the mobile terminal industry but also symbolizes our province's unwavering commitment to climbing "high" and pursuing "new" in the photovoltaic industry. Technological innovation is the most distinctive hallmark of our province. In recent years, our province has been competing at the forefront in areas such as new energy vehicles, advanced photovoltaics and new energy storage, and low-altitude economy, charting a high-quality development path for transformation and upgrading. In the new energy vehicle industry, our province has emerged strongly. According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, by the end of 2024, our province's automobile production has surpassed 3.57 million units, making it the second-largest automobile manufacturing province in the country. From January to February this year, our province advanced again, with automobile production ranking first nationally. Not only is there a leap in complete vehicle production, but high-end components are also accelerating their layout. Core supporting enterprises like Gotion High-Tech, JEE, JAC Yiwei, and Joyson Electronics are continuously tackling challenges in battery storage and intelligent driving, seizing technological "high ground." The low-altitude economy is on the rise. In the Wuhu Aviation Industry Park located in Wuhu City’s Wanzhi District, numerous aviation companies have settled here. Their products include new aviation materials, drones, engines, propellers, general aviation electronics, and aviation parts, covering the entire industrial chain from R&D, manufacturing, maintenance, operations, training, to logistics. The park's relevant personnel stated that it has basically achieved the ability to "produce a general aviation aircraft with independent intellectual property rights without leaving the park." In 2024, our province's R&D investment intensity reached 2.69%, ranking 7th in the country and surpassing the national average for the first time. Meanwhile, the number of high-value invention patents in our province reached 68,600, with nearly half distributed across strategic emerging industries such as next-generation information technology and high-end equipment manufacturing. Some core patents have driven key technological breakthroughs in multiple industries, including artificial intelligence, and intelligent networking. In 2024, the output value of strategic emerging industries in Anhui Province accounted for 43.6% of the industrial output above designated size, an increase of 0.7 percentage points from the previous year. The added value of high-tech manufacturing accounted for 16.1% of the industrial output above designated size, with a growth rate of 22.3%, contributing 35.3% to industrial growth. Our province has successfully transformed from a traditional energy raw material base.
