Anhui is advancing the revitalization of northern Anhui, focusing on building four major industrial clusters: new energy vehicles and their components, new energy, new materials, and green food. This effort aims to strengthen the "industrial spine" and enhance the driving force for high-quality development in northern Anhui. This year, the Anhui Provincial Committee has proposed the creation of a high-end green food industry cluster in northern Anhui, with the goal of achieving a total output value of 1.5 trillion yuan across ten green food industries. In Guoyang County, Bozhou City, which has maintained the highest summer grain production in the province for seven consecutive years, local efforts have nurtured five major agricultural product processing bases, including wheat and soybean. The county is home to 48 enterprises involved in the green food industry chain that are above designated size. With the clusters gaining momentum and transforming resource endowments into development drivers, Guoyang County has focused on green food to form an industrial chain centered on "agricultural resources—agricultural product processing—distribution and sales." Using "attracting talents and investments" as a pivot, it emphasizes cultivating green food industry clusters such as "quality grains and functional foods." By concentrating layout, resources, efforts, and tackling key challenges, this year Anhui will continue to develop the four major industrial clusters in northern Anhui. The goal is to achieve an industrial scale of 180 billion yuan for new energy vehicles and their components, 100 billion yuan for new energy, 180 billion yuan for new materials, and 360 billion yuan for the green food industry.
