Anhui is accelerating the establishment of a green manufacturing system centered on green factories, leveraging technological upgrades and digital transformation as key drivers. By pursuing a path of sustainable development, the province is enhancing the eco-friendly foundation of its new industrialization model. 

Anhui has vigorously promoted green manufacturing in the industrial field in recent years. From top-level design to special plans, from management methods to financial incentives, it has systematically established an ecological priority and green development orientation. In accordance with the overall requirements of "carbon reduction, pollution reduction, green expansion, and growth", the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government have focused on cultivating and expanding green and low-carbon industries such as new energy vehicles and photovoltaic energy storage. At the same time, they have implemented large-scale technological transformations throughout the province. They have accelerated the digital transformation of enterprises and equipment renewal, created green factories, and constructed green supply chains. In 2024, the investment growth rate of industrial technological transformation in Anhui reached 20.5%, exceeding 20% for 20 consecutive months.

Through collaboration between government and enterprises, joint efforts by provinces and cities, and equal emphasis on management and services, Anhui strive to enhance and expand the reach of green manufacturing. At the beginning of this year, Anhui added 73 new green factories, 7 green industrial parks, and 11 green supply chain management companies. Up until now, the province has cumulatively established 311 national-level green factories, 31 green industrial parks, and 53 green supply chain management companies, ranking among the top in the country in terms of numbers. 

Guided by the goals of carbon peak and carbon neutrality in the industrial sector, Anhui has systematically implemented the green manufacturing project. Currently, the annual output value of green factories at all levels exceeds 1.5 trillion yuan, accounting for about 30% of the total industrial output value above the designated size in the province, indicating a continuous improvement in the level of green development.
