When you hear the words tea house, homestay, and "aerial tea garden," what comes to mind? Is it a beautiful spiritual refuge or the anticipated "poetry and distance"? On March 30, reporters visited Luxi Village in Sanxi Town, Jingde County, Anhui Province, to explore the local model of integrating tea tourism with ecological tea gardens.
As the reporter took a sightseeing vehicle slowly up the mountain, the distance to the tea garden decreased, revealing thousands of hectares of tea gardens rising above the clouds, like a vibrant landscape painting. The tea hills were lush green, with terraced fields lined up, and unique homestays and tea houses dotted the landscape, resembling a fairyland. In leisure time, gather a few friends, find a tea house, sit down to sip tea, chat, enjoy the scenery, listen to the wind, and taste delicious food, adding tranquility and elegance to life. At night, staying in a homestay within the tea garden, as night fell and silence enveloped the surroundings, one could find a personal sense of peace, waking up to the first light of morning surrounded by the verdant tea hills, bringing a sense of ease and relaxation.

The Tea Culture Creative Tourism Complex project in Luxi Village has a total investment of about 110 million yuan and covers an area of 330 mu. In addition to the meticulously arranged tea gardens, several tea houses and "space capsule" homestays are situated on the tea hills. According to Jiang Fengshou, the village secretary, to enhance industrial efficiency, Luxi Village has adopted an operating model of "enterprise + cooperative + farmer," integrating scattered tea gardens, establishing standardized planting bases, and introducing modern management techniques to ensure the quality of tea. The village has also built facilities like a tea art experience center to enrich the tourism offerings. "Here, when you look around, there’s a vast expanse of green, and it makes you feel great. You can also stay overnight; the environment is comfortable. It's a wonderful experience," said visitor Ms. Wang.

"We are developing rural tourism through the 'aerial tea garden' and will introduce enterprises each year to diversify the offerings. When visitors come, they can first taste tea, enjoy sightseeing, savor local delicacies, and drink coffee. We've also newly constructed space capsules. We aim to meet all the needs of visitors for dining, accommodation, travel, and entertainment. Currently, the 'aerial tea garden' generates an annual collective economic income of about 400,000 yuan in pure profit. We are now working on the second phase of our action plan and welcome visitors to experience, taste our food, enjoy our scenery, and provide valuable feedback," said Jiang Fengshou, the village secretary.
