In the ancient alley, the "culture of courtesy and deference" that has been passed down for over 300 years continues to thrive; in the exhibition halls, "sleeping" artifacts become "vivid" with the aid of digital technology... Walking into the Liuchixiang scenic area in Tongcheng City, a picture of history and modernity interweaving gradually unfolds.

"Today, the Liuchixiang scenic area is not just an alley over 100 meters long and about 2 meters wide. After renovation and upgrading, it has become a comprehensive tourist destination consisting of Liuchixiang, Shao Garden, and more," Li Jinfang, the person in charge of the Liuchixiang scenic area, told reporters. Since last October, the average daily number of visitors to the scenic area has increased from less than a hundred to over 10,000 visits now.

In recent years, Tongcheng City has delved deeply into the cultural connotations of the Liuchixiang story, exploring and summarizing the "Liuchixiang Working Method." 

The "Liuchixiang Working Method" has been applied across various domains of social governance in Tongcheng City, with over 300 "Liuchixiang Mediation Studios" established throughout the city's grassroots units.

Last year, Anhui Province promoted the "Liuchixiang Working Method" across the entire province. In January of this year, the Anhui Province Liuchixiang Working Method Research Center was inaugurated.
