Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission released the "Optimized Adjustment Plan for the Layout of National Logistics Hubs," adding 26 national logistics hub cities. Among them, Suzhou and Ma'anshan in Anhui province have been successfully selected. With this addition, our province now has a total of seven national logistics hub cities, including Hefei, Suzhou, Bengbu, Fuyang, Ma'anshan, Wuhu, and Anqing, ranking 8th nationally. It is reported that national logistics hubs are important centers for the allocation of logistics resources and the organization of logistics activities. They play a crucial role in effectively reducing logistics costs across society, integrating various logistics resources, and promoting regional economic development. The "Optimized Adjustment Plan for the Layout of National Logistics Hubs" specifies increased support for the factors and policies for these hub cities, the construction of a batch of high-level national logistics hubs, and the active exploration of a "clustered industry + logistics hub" collaborative development model to cultivate new economic growth drivers. A relevant official from the Anhui Provincial Development and Reform Commission stated that efforts will be accelerated to enhance the hub's capabilities, promote coordinated networking of hubs, and efficiently integrate into the national logistics hub network, providing strong support for building logistics and market hubs that connect the Yangtze River Delta and Central China, serving the entire nation and facing the global market.
