On December 4th, the Yangtze River Delta Regional Cooperation Office held a news conference in Shanghai to announce the latest achievements and results on the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta over the past year. Industrial innovation has been thriving. In May 2021, the Yangtze River Delta New Energy Vehicle Industry Alliance was established, with enterprises from the new energy vehicle industry chains across Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui provinces responding collectively. Through the alliance, these enterprises leverage complementary advantages. Subsequently, the three provinces and one city in the Yangtze River Delta reached new cooperative agreements, including accelerating the construction of a unified network for new energy vehicle charging and battery swapping infrastructure. A new energy vehicle manufacturing plant can source all necessary supporting parts within a 4-hour drive, forming a "4-hour industrial circle" that embodies the characteristics of a modern industrial system. Currently, there are over 10 new energy vehicle brands that have established production factories in the Yangtze River Delta. The Yangtze River Delta Science and Technology Innovation Community has become an "innovation alliance" for collaborative innovation and technical cooperation among the three provinces and one city. Anhui, together with Shanghai, Jiangsu, and Zhejiang, is building world-class advanced manufacturing and strategic emerging industry clusters. The province now boasts over 40 listed companies in the next-generation information technology industry, ranks second in the country in new display panel production capacity, and fifth in the comprehensive evaluation of the artificial intelligence industry chain.
