On September 22, the Hefei Enterprise Federation released the 2024 list of Hefei's Top 50 Enterprises. The top three companies had a combined revenue of 251.1 billion yuan, accounting for more than 20% of the total revenue of the top 50 enterprises. Among them, LCFC Electronics Technology continued to hold the top spot with a revenue of over 100 billion yuan. Sungrow Power saw rapid growth, with revenue reaching 72.25 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 79.5%, jumping to second place on the Top 50 list. Hefei Haier Industrial Park ranked third with revenue of 66.73 billion yuan. This year marks the first time that the manufacturing industry has occupied the top three positions, reflecting Hefei's solid foundation as an "industrial powerhouse."

The total revenue of this year’s top 50 enterprises was 1.1925 trillion yuan, an increase of 159.1 billion yuan compared to the previous year, with a year-on-year growth of 15.4%. The average revenue per company was 23.85 billion yuan, an increase of 3.18 billion yuan over the previous year.

Of the top 50 Hefei enterprises, 25 are in manufacturing, with a combined revenue of 750.8 billion yuan, accounting for 63% of the total revenue of the top 50 enterprises. The continuous development of manufacturing has played a crucial role in accelerating Hefei's economic growth.

In recent years, Hefei's industrial sector has spurred innovation through technology, with strategic emerging industries such as new energy vehicles, solar photovoltaics, flat-panel displays, and biopharmaceuticals growing rapidly and becoming leaders in Hefei’s manufacturing sector. Hefei currently has five "Lighthouse Factories," nine National Manufacturing Individual Champion Demonstration Enterprises, and 248 national-level specialized and sophisticated "little giant" SMEs that produce novel and unique products. Moreover, six Hefei enterprises were listed on the 2024 Global Unicorn List.
